The Arsenal Women Sister Club Programme is one of the countries leading Sister Club initiatives, providing unique coaching & playing opportunities for girls and development opportunities for coaches.
In the 2018/19 season, our Sister Club Programme provided opportunities for 30 Sister Clubs in England and around the world to engage in coaching sessions, coach development workshops, festivals and much more.
Our programme has two key aims:
- Inspire every girl to love the game
- Support grassroots coaches in our Sister Clubs to develop their confidence, knowledge & skills to create the best environment for girls to play football
Every club we work have a variety of reasons for getting involved in the programme, therefore our support packages are flexible to suit the budget, aims & objectives of our Sister Clubs. Clubs have the opportunity to choose from:
- Tickets to Arsenal Women WSL Fixtures
- Coaching Sessions led by Arsenal Women Coaches
- Coach Development workshops (Held at the Sister Club)
- Matchday experiences
In addition to this all clubs joining the Sister Club Programme will have access to:
- Sister Club Festival
- Monthly Coaching Sessions Plans & Resources
- Online Coach Development Group (Hive)
- 3x Coach Development Workshops (Held at a central venue)
- Discounted Arsenal Women Memberships for club players (subject to availability & time sensitive)
As well as supporting clubs in England, we are the only WSL Club to deliver an International Sister ClubProgramme, aimed at supporting coaches at grassroots clubs around the world. In the 2018/19 season we supported several Sister Clubs based outside of England with online workshops, coaching session resources and coaching support.
How to apply
Applications are now open to join the Arsenal Women Sister Club Programme in the 2019/20 Season. Places to join the programme and certain elements of the programme are limited.
The deadline to complete an application to join the Arsenal Women Sister Club Programme is Sunday 21st July 2019.
