What are Away Points?

When purchasing and attending a competitive Men's First Team away fixture, each individual supporter is awarded an away point. This excludes fixtures played at neutral venues. Only Gold / Platinum Season Ticket Holders and existing Travel Club members qualify for away points, with Silver and Red Members not being eligible.
Any supporter who fails to collect their ticket when notified by the Club to do so, or acts in any way which contravenes the Away Ticket Terms and Conditions, will be liable in accordance with the Club's sanctions policy regarding away tickets - please see here for further details.

Do I need ID for an away fixture?

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure away tickets are being used by genuine Arsenal supporters who meet the qualifying eligibility criteria, ticket collections will be in place for a number of tickets at most games. Supporters who are asked to collect tickets must produce photographic ID to receive their ticket from a pre-assigned collection point at the fixture. Photographs or copies of ID will not be accepted. If you do not have a form of photographic ID, please contact our Fan Services team in advance of the day of the game.

Supporters attending an away game should carry photo ID as well as their Arsenal Membership pass and should produce this when requested by a representative of Arsenal FC or the hosting club. Members who purchase concession tickets must have ID showing proof of age relating to the ticket purchase and may be required to produce ID at the turnstiles.

When will I receive my away ticket?

We attempt to dispatch our away tickets as soon as we have sold out our allocation for the fixture. Most fixtures will be sold out approximately 4 weeks before the game, so tickets will be dispatched shortly after this date.
In some instances, there can be a shorter turnaround for away games (e.g. at the start of the season / cup competitions) and tickets may not be received from the away club until closer to the game. If this is the case, we will endeavour to send tickets at the earliest opportunity.

Away tickets will either be sent to the Lead Booker, or the Assigned Member, and this will be detailed on the fixture's ticket information page as to which method is in place for a specific fixture. In certain instances, tickets will be held for individual Assigned Member collections as part of our continued efforts to improve the ticketing experience for our supporters and to ensure all tickets are used by genuine Arsenal supporters. Any supporter who is required to collect tickets will be notified no later than two weeks before the fixture.

If we do have reasonable suspicion about the use of away tickets, the Club reserves the right to carry out individual spot checks. Any supporters issued with a spot check will be required to collect their ticket from a designated collection point at the relevant match. The Club will notify you via email and you will be required to produce an original proof of identity document. Please see Away Ticket Terms and Conditions for further details.

What happens if I have an away ticket, but can't attend?

Away Tickets are not eligible to be refunded, so we advise all supporters to purchase an away ticket only if they are sure they can attend.
If there is an instance where a supporter cannot attend, the Club has an Away Ticket Transfer service, which can be used for games chosen at the Club’s discretion, for Gold / Platinum Season Ticket Holders and Travel Club Members, which gives them the option to re-assign their away ticket for a game they cannot attend.
These are subject to certain conditions, with all details available on the dedicated Away Ticket Transfer Page.

How long do Away Points remain valid on my Season Ticket for?

Only points acquired over the two previous seasons and the current season count towards your current total of away points.
At the start of the 2023/24 season, any away loyalty points accumulated from season 2019/20 were removed. Any away points from the 2020/21 season will not be counted towards the current total away points due to games being played behind closed doors.
As per the Away Ticket Usage Information, failure to collect a ticket which you have been notified to collect, or any misuse of the Away Ticket, may result in the deduction of away points and/or subsequent further sanctions in accordance with the Club’s sanction policy on away points.
We are also working with other clubs in relation to scanned ticket data and if we are notified by the host club regarding any unused tickets, we will remove the away point in this instance also. This would not count towards the sanctions detailed in the link above.

How do I build up my Away Points?

Most fixtures sell out at the higher points booking periods, due to the limited number of away tickets the Club receives. For cup fixtures, we receive a larger away ticket allocation than for Premier League fixtures and these are the best opportunity, where possible, for supporters to build up away points.
Below is a list of away fixtures from the 2021/22 season to the start of the 2023/24 season, which have sold out to Platinum, Gold and Travel Club members with zero Away Points:
2021/2022
West Bromwich Albion - Carabao Cup
Manchester City - Premier League
Nottingham Forest - FA Cup
Liverpool - Carabao Cup

2022/23
FC Zurich - Europa League
Manchester City - FA Cup
Sporting CP - Europa League

Please keep an eye on away fixture booking information here.

I have not received/lost my away ticket

If you have not received your ticket, or have misplaced your ticket, for any away fixture, you should contact the Fan Services team on the last working day prior to the fixture. Please call +44 (0) 30 7619 5000. Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9:30am - 17:00pm (excluding Bank Holidays).
A duplicate away ticket will be arranged for collection at the away stadium on the day of the fixture. Please ensure you take photographic ID as this will be required to collect your ticket.

How do Silver/Red Members get access to Away Tickets?

Access for Away Tickets is extremely limited, due to the smaller allocation we receive for Premier League fixtures. This allocation has several determining factors (visiting stadia, segregation, allocation provided) that do not allow us to have a consistent number of tickets per fixture.
If we reach the booking periods available to Silver/Red Members, we will advertise this on the specific fixture's ticket information page.
We encourage all Silver/Red Members to continue to monitor the ticket information pages, as ticket availability can change dependent on the previous booking periods and tickets purchased by Gold / Platinum Season Ticket Holders & Travel Club Members.

Do the club provide coach travel for away supporters?

We have appointed Corporate Travel Management (CTM) as our supporter travel provider for season 2023/24. When away coach travel is available, this will be added to the ticket information page.
Arsenal FC Travel Escorts will be on board coaches to ensure all supporters have a fantastic away day experience.
