A staple of Arsenal home games for over 120 years, the award-winning matchday programme has undergone an exciting revamp – and we think it’s the very best publication the club has ever produced
The Long Reads
Our exclusive features have become even more comprehensive. Each issue there will be a lengthy player feature, detailed historical piece, introduction to an Academy player in their own words and a new ‘Official Voice’ article which replaces the captain’s and manager’s notes. The Official Voice will be the thoughts of Mikel Arteta and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from time to time but also feature other key figures at the club, such as club Directors, vice-captains and coaches for a more rounded look at the club over the course of the season.
Fan Focus
Supporters are very much at the heart of this season’s programme. Our Supporters Voice feature asks fans to write about fellow Gooners who they think we should know about and we also want to hear your opinions about our featured first-team players as well as getting involved in our sustainability section.
Red, White – and Green
Speaking of which, we believe the matchday programme is going to be the first such publication to offset all emissions created in the production of the issue by creating an ‘Arsenal Forest – planting 12,500 trees in Kenya through a partnership with Carbon Link. This is part of an extensive focus on ‘sustainability’ in this season’s issue.
The Big Pictures
Always a great showcase for current and historic imagery, the programme is taking this to a new level with a bespoke section of double-page imagery in every issue. From classic shots through history to current images taken by Stuart MacFarlane and David Price exclusively for the programme.
Reactive Read
When the club have a special celebration or campaign, the programme will transform to an engaging accompaniment for those moments. This follows the success of the issues last season that changed fundamentally for the David Rocastle commemoration and the celebration of the 1970/71 double campaign.
All of this and we’ve also changed up many of our regular features, such as the Junior Gunners, match action and community sections, making them more engaging for supporters.
How To Buy it?
The programme is available on matchdays from programme sellers, the Armoury and kiosks. Our sellers can process payments by card and cash.
Subscriptions and single issues can be purchased from our new programme portal, which can be found here:

The new portal will make purchasing online simpler and more efficient.
During the pandemic we pulled forward our deadlines to ensure programmes were posted at least one day – two for Sunday games – prior to a match, enabling the majority of subscribers to receive programmes on the day of the game in the UK. This proved popular with supporters and we will continue to provide this service in 2021/22.
What are you waiting for? Subscribe today! And all subscribers will be entered into a draw to win a shirt signed by the Arsenal first-team squad!
