It was another season of incredible development and progress for Bukayo, who reached double figures for both goals and assists in the Premier League. Mainly operating on the right wing, the creative, skilful youngster was ever-present for the second season in a row in the league – the first player to do this for us in back-to-back campaigns since David Seaman in 1990/91 and 1991/92.

The leading goalscorer, assister and appearance-maker in the current squad, he became the second youngest player in our history to rack up 100 Premier League appearances in August 2022, and won the Premier League Player of the Month award for March 2023.

Joining the club’s Hale End Academy at the age of eight, Bukayo rose through the system before making his first-team debut under Unai Emery at the age of 17, and was named Arsenal Player of the Year in both 2021 and 2022.

A senior international since October 2020, he played in his second major tournament in 2022, scoring three at the Qatar World Cup, helping England reach the quarter-final.

Nominated for the Premier League Young Player of the Year award, Bukayo signed a new long-term contract with the club in May 2023.
