Club launches Asia Tour Facebook app

Arsenal Football Club has launched a Facebook application ‘Show your Arsenal Passion’ which will provide supporters and football fans in each of the destinations of the Asia Tour 2013 this summer with content and the opportunity to attend activity in the Far East.

Daily news and weekly competitions will be posted for supporters to like, comment on and share across Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan. Each time a supporter interacts with activity on the Facebook application by liking, sharing or commenting on a post they receive points for their country. The location that engages most with the application will give a participating supporter the chance to win a trip to the UK to watch Arsenal play at Emirates Stadium.

Weekly prizes up for grabs will include VIP tickets to watch the team play in each of the countries; offer supporters the chance to attend an event with the first team and also win signed Arsenal items. News updates will also give fans information on how to purchase tickets to see the Gunners in action this summer.

Former Arsenal player Freddie Ljungberg will be visiting each of the countries in early June in an ambassadorial role to raise awareness of the Club’s tour and build excitement with some activity in Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Tokyo and Saitama.
