The Chile international was in sensational form, scoring a brilliant hat-trick against West Ham United and firing home a free kick against Everton.

Alexis, who claimed 80.4 per cent of the votes cast, was the overwhelming winner with Mesut Ozil - who scored against West Ham and Stoke City - in second place.
Alex Iwobi, who scored against FC Basel and also against Stoke City, was in third spot with 6.5 per cent of the votes.
