Monday, May 30, France 3-2 Cameroon
Saturday, June 4, France 3-0 Scotland
Olivier Giroud scored twice and Laurent Koscielny headed in his first international goal as Euro 2016 hosts France beat Scotland in Metz in their final friendly before the tournament starts on June 10. Giroud opened the scoring with a superb backheel, before adding his second 10 minutes before half-time. Koscielny made it three soon after, heading powerfully beyond David Marshall. Giroud was substituted just after the hour, with Koscielny playing the whole game.
Giroud also scored five days earlier to help Les Bleus win their entertaining friendly against Cameroon in Nantes. The Arsenal striker scored just before half-time, expertly guiding Paul Pogba's cross into the far corner. Blaise Matuidi had given France the lead after 20 minutes but Vincent Aboubakar quickly equalised. It looked as though Giroud's 41st-minute volley would be the winner but Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting levelled with two minutes to go, before Dimitri Payet's stunning free-kick won the game for the hosts.
