Granit Xhaka and Switzerland continued their preparations for Euro 2016 by securing a win over Moldova in their final friendly match before the tournament starts. The midfielder started and played 70 minutes with an own goal and Admir Mehmedi's 75th-minute effort proving enough for a hard-fought victory in Lugano.

 

Xhaka completed 90 minutes as Switzerland were beaten by Belgium in Geneva. Blerim Dzemaili gave the hosts the lead but goals from Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne secured victory for Marc Wilmots' side.
