Following our fantastic semi-final victory over Valencia, all attention now turns to the UEFA Europa League final 2019.

We are able to announce our ticket sales process for the UEFA Europa League final, to be played in Baku, Azerbaijan on Wednesday, May 29.

Ticket allocation for the final

We have been informed by UEFA that both clubs will receive an allocation of just 6,000 tickets each for the match.

We are in active discussions with UEFA for more tickets for our fans but this disappointing ticket allocation obviously presents us with extreme difficulties in how we allocate tickets to you, our loyal supporters.

As many of you will be aware, we are proud to have approximately 45,000 season ticket holders and over 180,000 official members.

It is inevitable that with an allocation of just 6,000 tickets for the final, there will be thousands of fans who have supported the club for years and been part of our Europa League journey this season, who will be unable to attend this match.

This is a disappointing situation and as a result of our allocation we will be offering tickets via the process below.

Travel to Baku will be difficult 

We want to stress to all supporters before they commit to registering their interest for this match, that there will be significant travel difficulties and cost implications.

There are very limited travel options to Baku, with a small number of available seats on scheduled flights from western Europe to Azerbaijan. We also estimate that return travel to Baku could cost supporters in excess of £1,000 per person.

We are working with Thomas Cook Sport to offer supporter travel to the match.  Capacity is likely to be limited due to aircraft availability with it being half term week and just after the bank holiday. Thomas Cook Sport are looking to offer a limited number of day trip places  to supporters who have purchased an official match ticket (subject to availability).

All applications to travel on these trips will be verified for a match ticket purchase, prior to being confirmed by Thomas Cook Sport.

Our ticket allocation process

We recognise that any process we implement for the sales process of just 6,000 tickets for a major final will leave many fans disappointed. We can only ask that supporters understand the difficult situation we find ourselves in.

Following the quarter-final/semi-final draw, we have been selected as the away team for the final and have been allocated the North end of the Olympic Stadium in Baku.

Tickets are priced at £121 (extremely limited), £78 (limited), £43, £26 (limited). There are no concession price tickets available for this match. Booking fees will apply.

The match is strictly all ticket and due to the expected levels of demand, the following process will be implemented:

Current registered Members for season 2018/19 of the Away Scheme (Away Season Ticket Subscription)

The above category will be guaranteed one ticket per membership as long as tickets are purchased between 10am – 1pm on Monday, May 13, 2019.

Current Platinum and Gold registered Members for season 2018/19 who have 15 OR MORE  away points over the last two consecutive seasons from August 20, 2016 – May 12, 2019.

The above category will be guaranteed ticket one ticket per membership as long as tickets are purchased between 10am – 1pm  on Monday, May 13, 2019.

Any current Platinum and Gold Member who has 14 OR BELOW away points over the last two full consecutive seasons.

Due to the complexities of travel and how this will impact on demand, we are asking supporters with 14 or below away points over the last two full consecutive seasons to register their interest to purchase tickets.

Registering an interest must be made between 10pm on Thursday, May 9, 2019 until 4pm on Monday, May 13, 2019.

Disabled Supporters

The Club will receive an allocation of tickets for registered disabled Platinum/Gold season ticket holders.

Details of how these tickets will be allocated will be available on the Disabled Supporters’ Section of HERE.

Information for successful applicants

UEFA and Law Enforcement Information Required  

Upon a successful booking, you will be sent an email containing a form which must be completed and returned immediately for each *travelling supporter.

The information required will be:

  • The full first name and surname of the *travelling supporter who will be using the match ticket (no initials).
  • Valid Passport Number of the *travelling supporter who will be using the match ticket.
  • Date of Birth of the *travelling supporter who will be using the match ticket.
  • The nationality of the *travelling supporter.
  • Travel plans for each *travelling supporter including mode of travel, arrival and departure dates and accommodation if applicable.

*Travelling supporter

We are aware that some members have more than one season ticket registered in their own name or registered in a company name. Consequently, we understand that in some cases the details on the season ticket will not be the same as the supporter travelling to the match. Therefore, the details supplied will need to be of the travelling supporter.

Delivery/collection of tickets

At the point of booking, supporters will be given the option to select one of the following methods of delivery:

Special Delivery

Tickets will be sent to the registered address we currently hold on our ticketing system of the person making the booking. We cannot accommodate tickets being sent to an alternative address.

Collection at Emirates Stadium

Tickets will be available to collect from the Highbury House Box Office on allotted dates and times – details to be confirmed.

Collection in Baku

In addition to the above, the Club will randomly choose a number of supporters to collect their tickets in Baku in order to validate the information provided at the time of booking and ensure that tickets are not being passed onto third parties.

Azerbaijan Visa Information

All travelling supporters who are British nationals must apply for a visa to enter Azerbaijan.

Any supporters who are British nationals travelling without a visa will not be allowed access into the country.   

All travelling supporters must be in possession of a valid passport (for at least six months).

Other countries’ passport holders/citizens should visit www.finalbaku2019.az to obtain detailed information about getting a visa to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Here is a step-by-step-guide to organising your visa:

E-VISA ONLINE APPLICATION

1. Complete the online application on the Asan Visa website (https://evisa.gov.az/en/).

2. Make the online payment – the cost is 23 US dollars.

3. Download and print your e-visa.

The only document required for an e-visa application is the scanned data page of the ticket holder’s passport. Please note that in “Purpose of visit” field of your e-visa application you should select “Europa League final”.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months following the day of departure from Azerbaijan.

In closing, we would once again stress our disappointment with the small allocation of tickets we have received and can only ask that supporters try to understand the difficult situation we find ourselves in.
