England forward Beth made her return after 11 months out with injury in October 2023 and took just seven minutes to make an impact by setting up Alessia Russo’s 94th minute winner against Aston Villa.
The following month she scored a brace in the 3-0 win over West Ham United, and finished the season with nine goals and a third Continental Cup winner’s medal.
Beth had won both the Golden Boot and Player of the Tournament awards at Euro 2022 and carried that form into the following season, registering five goals and five assists in ten starts before suffering an ACL injury in November 2022 that meant she missed the rest of the season and the World Cup.
She joined in January 2017 from Sunderland, where she scored 77 goals in 78 games and won the WSL Golden Boot in 2015, and has since starred as a winger, topping the assists chart in our 2018/19 title-winning campaign and registering a WSL record 42 up to the end of 2023/24.
An England international since 2018, she marked her return from injury last season by helping the Lionesses come from 2-0 down against the Netherlands to win 3-2, and then scored three goals in her next two appearances.
