Tavares got the ball rolling in just the third minute with his first-ever goal for the club before Saka doubled the lead from the penalty spot.
Cristiano Ronaldo struck back immediately and United had the chance to level in the second half, only for Bruno Fernandes’s penalty to strike the post.
We sealed the win with a cracking long-range goal from Granit Xhaka, to make it two wins in the space of four days.
