Junior Gunner competition winners enjoyed a memorable trip to Selhurst Park to watch Arsenal triumph over Crystal Palace in the Barclays Premier League.
The day began with registration at Emirates Stadium – and was followed by an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. The JGs got a sneak-peek into the media centre, the first-team changing rooms and a view from pitch side.
Later in the morning, the JG’s set off to Victoria Docks to experience the Emirates Airline – London’s only cable car. After being given the VIP treatment and jumping the queue, the JGs went on the pods in groups of seven and took to the air.
On board, they were treated to spectacular views of the capital, the perfect way to prepare for a London derby! The day ended with a fantastic 2-1 win for the gunners and a great day out for all involved.
