WHAT HAPPENED
We extended our unbeaten run in the Premier League 2 to four matches as we drew 2-2 with Brighton away from home on Friday night.
The hosts raced into an early lead after just three minutes, Jack Hinshelwood firing home from close range following a goalmouth scramble after we failed to deal with Brighton's initial corner.
We responded instantly, Amario Cozier-Duberry showing real composure in the box to put the finishing touches on a well-worked move after impressive link-up play from Matt Smith.
Karl Hein, making his first appearance of the season at this level, produced an impressive stop to deny Andy Moran and keep the scores level.
Lino Sousa almost gave us the lead on the stroke of half time, thundering one against the crossbar from close range after a forceful run into the box from deep.
It was us who made the fast start to the second half, Charles Sagoe Jr beating James Beadle at his near post with a powerful strike just two minutes after the interval.
Nathan Butler-Oyedeji almost added a third, racing through and testing Beadle from a tight angle after outwitting the Brighton defence.
The hosts would restore parity once again in the closing stages, Todd Miller's strike taking a large deflection and falling to the feet of Casper Nilsson to prod home from close range.
We continued to threaten in behind as the final whistle approached, but failed to add the third in the closing stages that would have seen us take all three points back to north London.
WHAT IT MEANS
We stay unbeaten in the Premier League 2 this season and remain top after four matches.
