Welcome Tobin! | Heath signs for Arsenal

We are delighted to announce that two-time FIFA World Cup winner and two-time Olympic Champion Tobin Heath has signed for Arsenal.

In a glittering career, the experienced forward has won 177 caps and scored 35 goals for the United States national team. In addition to two World Cups and two Olympic Gold Medals, Tobin has also won two NWSL titles, two CONCACAF Women’s Championships and an Olympic Bronze medal.

She has also won several personal accolades, including being named in the FIFPro Women’s World 11 in 2020 and winning US Soccer Female Athlete of the Year in 2016.

Tobin’s club career started with college team North Carolina Tar Heels and she has gone on to play for several sides in the US and Europe, including Paris St-Germain, Portland Thorns and most recently, Manchester United.

Arsenal Women’s Head Coach, Jonas Eidevall said, “Tobin’s record speaks for itself. She’s an incredibly talented player who will bring so much experience to our squad. This is an exciting time for the club, and I’m delighted we could secure Tobin’s signing as we prepare to kick off the new season at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.”
