It's time to pick our Women's Player of the Month for December!
December saw us win both of our Women's Super League clashes and secure our place in the knockout stages of the Champions League, with a certain 9-1 win away at FC Zurich to round off an incredible 2022.
But who was our star performer from the month? Here are the four contenders:
- After a few months spent as a centre-back, Steph Catley slotted back into her position as a fullback and key chance-creator down the left wing. Our Aussie completed well over 200 passes and 12 tackles in just five games
- Another month, another set of impressive stats for Frida Maanum. Her three goals - all scored in one sitting against FC Zurich - included a blinding strike outside the box and an impeccably placed free-kick that floated into the top corner
- Katie McCabe got off the mark this month with a goal against Aston Villa but with 12 blocks, five dribbles and 123 passes, her powerful impact was felt all over the pitch in December
- With three goals in four games, Vivianne Miedema was in absolutely blistering form in December for our Gunners. Her vintage curler against Everton was the pick of the bunch
