Team news: Xhaka and Ramsdale return

Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsdale

Granit Xhaka and Aaron Ramsdale both return to our starting line-up for today’s friendly against Juventus.

The duo will get their first minutes back in our colours since returning from the World Cup at the Emirates Stadium this evening, as the only changes to the side that started the win against AC Milan on Tuesday.

Karl Hein and Mohamed Elneny drop to the bench to accommodate the duo, where they will be joined by Matt Turner who is also named in our matchday squad for the first time since his exploits for the USA.

Massimiliano Allegri is missing many of his World Cup stars, but has been able to name a number of Italian internationals in his side.

Goalkeeper Mattia Perin has two caps, while Daniele Rugani and Federico Gatti start in defence, while Manuel Locatelli will provide protection for the backline. 

Youngster Fabio Miretti and Nicolo Fagioli recently won their first Azzurri caps, while Moise Kean starts in attack, who is currently on loan from Everton.
