William Saliba returns straight to the starting lineup after being part of the France squad that reached the World Cup final eight days ago.
The defender is one of seven players in our starting line-up for the Boxing Day clash who were in action at the World Cup.
Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli are also back for the visit of West Ham, having represented their respective countries in Qatar.
There are just two changes from the side we fielded for our most recent Premier League game, away to Wolves back on November 12. Kieran Tierney starts at left back, while Eddie Nketiah is up front in place of the injured Gabriel Jesus.
There’s also a place on the bench for 17-year-old winger Amario Cozier-Duberry, who impressed during the mid-season friendly fixtures.
Arsenal: Ramsdale, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Xhaka, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Nketiah.
Subs: Turner, Cedric, Zinchenko, Holding, Elneny, Lokonga, Vieira, Marquinhos, Cozier-Duberry.
