Mikel Arteta has been forced to make one change to his side for today’s crucial Premier League game against Everton, with Bukayo Saka missing out.
The winger has picked up a slight muscle injury and will sit this one out with Gabriel Martinelli taking his place, which marks the first time Mikel has been forced to change his line-up in five games.
Meanwhile, there is a welcome return to the bench as Jurrien Timber takes his place amongst the replacements, his first call-up since his ACL injury on the opening weekend.
William Saliba starts for the 38th time in the league this season, as he looks to complete an ever-present campaign. If he completes the full 90 minutes he will become the first outfield player for us to play every minute of a Premier League season.
Everton meanwhile are unchanged from the side that beat Sheffield United 1-0, but Andre Gomes and Arnaut Danjuma don’t appear among the substitutes as Sean Dyche looks towards next season with the pair set to depart in the summer.
Arsenal: Raya, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Tomiyasu, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Trossard, Martinelli, Havertz.
Subs: Ramsdale, Timber, Zinchenko, Kiwior, Jorginho, Vieira, Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Jesus.
