Our under-21 side will build up to the 2024/25 campaign with six friendly fixtures.
Mehmet Ali’s team will be in action at home and abroad during the summer months as they warm up for Premier League 2 action, as they aim to improve on their fifth-place finish last term.
Our pre-season plans begin in familiar surroundings when an Arsenal XI travel to Boreham Wood FC for a game at Mangata Pay UK Stadium on Sunday, July 13, three days before a trip to Enfield Town, recently promoted to the National League South.
Then follows a trip to Slovakia as our youngsters face Rapid Vienna II on Saturday, July 27, before returning to England for a fixture with seventh-tier Bishop Stortford at their Donmow Road home.
EFL opposition follows as we head to League One side Lincoln City for a game at Sincil Bank. The Imps finished just outside the play-off places last term and will provide an excellent test ahead of our EFL Trophy matches next term.
Pre-season concludes with a behind-closed-doors game against Stoke City’s under-21s at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday, August 10.
Supporters who wish to watch these games can purchase tickets through the opposition club’s website, with the exception of the Rapid Vienna II fixture where entry can be purchased on the gate.
