After being named in our starting line-up for today's game against Bournemouth, Bukayo Saka is set to complete a century of Premier League games for the club.
Having made his first-team debut back in November 2018 during a Europa League game against Vorskla Porlava, Saka made his league bow on New Year's Day 2019 against Fulham as a late substitute, becoming the first player born in the 21st century to play in the division.
The following season, after being handed a first league start against Aston Villa he began to establish himself in the team, and by the end of the campaign he had made 26 league appearances, with a first top-flight goal in our colours arriving in July 2020 at Wolves.
He would miss just six games the following year, and better that by being an ever-present last term as he featured in all 38 games, netting 11 goals in the process to hit double figures for the first time in his career.
That haul took him up to 17 in the division, while his totals in all competitions have seen him score seven more times in 134 games.
Saka will become the second youngest player to play 100 times for us in the Premier League, behind only Cesc Fabregas.
Congratulations Bukayo!
