Our Premier League match against Southampton will see us continue the tradition of dedicating a matchday to celebrate the vital work of The Arsenal Foundation.

This year has been a trying one for so many people and we have worked tirelessly to ensure our local and global communities have felt the full support of the Arsenal family.

To bring them closer to the work taking place, our men’s first team enjoyed a presentation on the impact The Arsenal Foundation is having locally and globally through our partnership with Save the Children in Za’atari Refugee Camp, Jordan and Jakarta, Indonesia.

The players also pledged to continue the tradition of donating a day’s salary to support this important work, with a particular focus on our Coaching for Life programme in Jordan.

Our players will be paired with a young person from Coaching for Life and will play for them on Wednesday’s Premier League fixture, with their name printed inside the back of our match shirts. Our women’s team will mark the initiative at their WSL fixture against Everton on Sunday.

The matchday programme will have a different feel with 11 separate covers printed to highlight the stories of eleven different young people on our Coaching for Life progamme. Inside, we will also tell the story of local beneficiaries who have felt the full support of The Arsenal Foundation.

You can order your own copy of the programme here.

It has been a trying year for so many people, but The Arsenal Foundation continues to use the power of the Arsenal name to inspire and support young people in north London and across the globe. To support this vital work, please donate here.

Together, we can do even more.
