Tobi Omole and Matthew Dennis will leave the club at the end of their contracts on July 1.
Young professional Omole joined our Hale End academy in 2014, when he began honing his abilities as a centre back. Showing great versatility, he played as a left back, central defender and a defensive midfielder during his 34 appearances for the under-18s before making the move into our under-23 set-up.
After signing his first professional deal in 2018, the 20-year-old made 14 Premier League 2 and four EFL Trophy appearances, scoring one goal in the process.
Second-year scholar Dennis joined our academy at the age of six, following a successful trial period. During his 28 appearances for our under-18s, the winger netted three times, including a late winner against Southampton in this year’s FA Youth Cup fourth round.
Dennis travelled with the under-19s to the prestigious Dallas Cup in 2019 and made his Premier League 2 debut this season, featuring as a substitute against Derby County.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Tobi and Matthew for their contributions and wish them well in their future careers.
