Arsene Wenger has reiterated the Club's desire to extend Bacary Sagna's contract at Arsenal.
The France international's current deal expires in the summer of 2014 and some reports have linked Sagna with a move away from Emirates Stadium.
But Wenger is determined to keep his compatriot.
"Our desire is to keep Bacary Sagna and he knows that," said the manager. "We will sit down with him and we did already sit down with his agent, and we didn't get a [negative] vibe out.
"He is not free in the summer so he can only leave if we let him go."
