Arsene Wenger insists he does not envy Manchester City's squad because he is more than happy with his own.
Manuel Pellegrini has an array of attacking talent at his disposal, which has been evident with his side scoring 41 goals already this season.
But Arsenal have the best defensive record in the Premier League this season and Wenger is confident his side can beat City on Saturday.
"City have a very strong squad, I do not deny that. But I look at my squad and I do not envy them"
"What we want to do is just to be ourselves with our quality, with our spirit, with our attitude and we want to get a result,” he said.
"City have a very strong squad, I do not deny that. But I look at my squad and I do not envy them.
"What is important is how we play together. On that front, I think we have done very well since the start of the season."
A win for Arsenal would take them nine points clear of Pellegrini's team and Wenger says he is not surprised by how well his team have played.
"I am not scientific enough to have predicted [our form] two months ago," he said "It was very difficult to plan that.
"I am happy that we have turned it around and done well, but now it is a period where you want to go on for more."
