Arsene Wenger thinks Arsenal's away record has given them the early advantage over their title rivals this season.
The Gunners extended their unbeaten away run to 14 games in all competitions on Saturday after their 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
"It's good because it shows that the team can win when we're not completely flying. That's a good sign"
But Wenger admits that his side face a difficult month ahead with games against Chelsea, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United all on the horizon.
"As it stands at the moment, we have a very good away record," said Wenger. "We have drawn only once and won all our other away games and we have more points ahead of everyone else so that's not bad.
"That's the advantage, the disadvantage is that some teams have had heavier fixtures than we have had until now. That's what is facing us now."
Saturday's victory was anything but an easy ride for Arsenal as they struggled to breakdown a resilient Crystal Palace side and Wenger believes it's a "good sign" that his team won without reaching their best form.
"The target was to take the three points instead of playing a fantastic game and then you draw,” he said.
"It's good because it shows that the team can win when we're not completely flying. That's a good sign."
