Young goalkeeper Josh Vickers has joined Isthmian League Premier Division side Canvey Island FC on a short-term loan.
The 17-year-old stopper featured 16 times for Arsenal’s under-18s during the 2012/13 season and also made one appearance at under-21 level, in a 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He joins Canvey Island for the opportunity of first-team experience.
