Denilson played the full 90 minutes as Sao Paulo qualified from their Copa Libertadores group after beating Atletico Mineiro. The midfielder was booked after 78 minutes.

Huachipato 1-1 Gremio
Andre Santos played the full 90 minutes as Gremio qualified for the next stage of the Copa Libertadores with a draw away at Huachipato.

Emmanuel Frimpong was a second-half substitute as Fulham were beaten by Chelsea. David Luiz gave the visitors the lead with a spectacular long-range effort before John Terry added a brace. Frimpong was introduced after 76 minutes.
