Daniel Boateng made a brief Hibernian debut as Terry Butcher's side overcame Ross County at Easter Road. Sam Stanton and Tom Taiwo strikes either side of the break put the hosts in command before Richie Brittain halved the deficit on the hour. Boateng was introduced with three minutes to play.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga gave the visitors the lead but Dominick Kumbela struck twice in 10 minutes to turn the game on its head. Ivo Ilicevic equalised but Kumbela completed his hat-trick and Jan Hochscheidt scored in stoppage time to consign Bert van Marwijk's side to their seventh straight league loss.
