Koscielny - Emirates can be a fortress

Laurent Koscielny feels Arsenal are turning Emirates Stadium into a fortress this season.

The Gunners have conceded just one goal in their last eight games at home and Saturday's clean sheet against Tottenham was their 10th of the season in front of their own fans.

Koscielny insists Arsenal must dominate at the Emirates if they are to challenge for the Premier League.

"I think all the players in the squad want to win something and we have worked hard"

"When you want to win the title you need to take care of all of the points at home," he told Arsenal Player. "To do this it's important to not concede a lot of goals at the Emirates and we have done well.

"I hope we continue to do this for the rest of the season. I think all the players in the squad want to win something and we have worked hard. The season is very long and very hard.

"We need to keep our quality to work hard in training and to be strong for the games. You know when we keep a clean sheet that we have the players in front of us to make the difference and will have the opportunities to score."

Koscielny produced another faultless performance against Tottenham and was pleased to record another shut out.

"We are happy with the clean sheet," he said. "Everybody worked for this, you know the midfield and strikers make a lot of runs to help us and it's very important because when you have a clean sheet you have more opportunities to win the game.

"We worked hard until the end of the game, we were strong which is good for the next match."
