Forty Junior Gunners enjoyed a day out to remember on Saturday, April 20, chugging down the Thames to Craven Cottage in a specially chartered boat for Arsenal’s clash with Fulham.
The boat trip took in the O2 Arena, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament among other top London landmarks, and the young JG’s were treated to a host of weird and wonderful facts about the buildings they passed courtesy of Arsenal in the Community's Samir Singh.
After they’d moored up at Putney Pier and headed into Craven Cottage, the JGs then turned their mind to the big game.
Unveiling a Junior Gunners on Tour banner, they got right behind Arsène Wenger’s team, cheering them on to a crucial 1-0 win.
The youngsters won their places on the boat trip and tickets to the game courtesy of a JG competition. Keep your eyes peeled on the site for the chance to win more top Arsenal prizes.
