Arsenal’s travelling supporters will receive a £2.50 discount on every remaining away Premier League match ticket purchased this season.

The saving is intended to reward those supporters who travel away from home most regularly and will roughly equate to the price of an ‘average’ away ticket over the course of a season. The reduction will be made on the advertised ticket price at the point of purchase.

The initiative, which comes into effect for the away match against Crystal Palace on Saturday, October 26, is part of Arsenal’s ongoing drive to recognise the tremendous support it receives away from home.

The Club will also provide away supporters with a refreshments voucher worth £10 at an away fixture this Christmas. This follows the success of a similar initiative last year when Arsenal travelled to Wigan Athletic.

In addition, redevelopments are to be made to the away area at Emirates Stadium to improve the matchday experience for visiting supporters this season. This will be the latest stage of the Club’s ‘Arsenalisation’ project, which has already seen the lower and upper concourses redecorated to commemorate great Arsenal moments, with statues of Herbert Chapman, Tony Adams and Thierry Henry installed around the podium area.

Further plans are being developed to recognise Arsenal’s travelling supporters as part of the Club’s away membership programme.

Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis said: “This is an ongoing process. We’re pleased to be giving something back to our supporters who travel the length and breadth of the country to support the team away from home in the Premier League. They are the lifeblood of the Club and we want to recognise that in a fair and meaningful way.

“We are also taking steps to help make visiting supporters feel more at home when they visit Emirates Stadium.”
