Under-18s squandered a two-goal lead against Aston Villa and had
to settle for a draw at the Bodymoor Heath Training Ground on
Saturday.
Fran Merida was a major influence in central midfield, scoring
twice in the first half to give Steve Bould's men the advantage
before Villa hit back after the break.
The young Gunners remain unbeaten after two games of the Academy
League season following their opening-day victory at Derby.
