'In the circumstances it's a good point'

Danielle Carter has already scored five times this campaign - and she played her part in a dramatic 2-2 draw against Chelsea on Wednesday night.

At a damp Wheatsheaf Park, Pedro Martinez Losa's side battled against the conditions to leave with a point thanks to Jordan Nobbs' last-gasp leveller.

Here's what Carter had to say post-match:

on the late equaliser…
It doesn't really matter how it goes in at the end of the game, we got the goal that we needed to equalise at the end.

on the result…
Obviously we're disappointed that it was only a draw, but in the circumstances it was a good point. I think the draw was the least that we deserved because when they equalised to make it 1-1, it was quite disappointing.

on Chelsea's late goal…
I thought it was against the run of play, but we've got to take that in our stride and obviously we then went 2-1 down, but credit to the girls, they kept going to the end and rescued a point.

on the quality of the game…
It was always going to be a good quality game – there's a good rivalry regardless of whether it's snowing, raining or the sun's shining.

on the team spirit…
Neither of us want to lose any game, especially a London derby like this, and we showed a lot of character.
