Alexis is the red-hot favourite after another stellar season in which he became the eighth player to reach 50 Premier League goals for the club.
Laurent Koscielny captained the team for much of the campaign and was outstanding once more, while Nacho Monreal was the model of consistency at left-back, left-wing back and as part of a back three.
Has Mesut Ozil done enough to win the top prize again after his success last term? What about Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, in such fine form in recent months and having played in six different positions this term?
