Danny Welbeck came on as a substitute at White Hart Lane, and he stopped to talk to the media straight after our 2-0 defeat.
Here's what the forward said:
on the result…
It's obviously difficult to take and I felt we had a bit of control in the game but with the way it ended, 2-0 is not good for us at all.
on what we need to do to make the Champions League now…
Well, we’re professional and we need to fight right until the end. As a team, get together, analyse the game and then move on from this. It’s very difficult to take for the club, for all the players, the fans. It’s not a nice one to lose and we want to make it right next week.
