"We had to defend well because we knew they were very good on the counter-attack," he told Arsenal Player. "But we also knew they were slow at the back, so it was about playing balls in behind.
"After many chances we got the goals we deserved. We played very well on the counter-attack, we knew how to choose our options and it paid off as well."
The win took us back up to third in the table, but we had to work for it against a Hull side who had taken four points from Manchester United and Liverpool in their previous two matches.
"It’s been a tough couple of weeks and it’s nice to get a good result," Bellerin said. "It was nice to play at home again in front of our crowd as well.
"It was a very tough game and since their new manager has taken over, Hull City have been doing really well. It was very hard for us to break them down, but we finally got what we deserved."
