Our Champions League campaign resumes in Germany on Wednesday, with Arsène Wenger confident we can reverse our recent trend against Bayern.
This is the fourth season in the last five years that we have met the Bundesliga giants, but the boss believes our home advantage in the second leg could prove a decisive difference this time around.
"Yes, we've had bad experiences against them," he said. “But I feel that this is a good opportunity.
"We have won there before and we play the first game away from home, so it’s important we protect the second game because I feel that to have a chance to qualify in the second leg, that will be very important. We go there not high, but to defend well as a team."
The boss also said the Mesut Ozil could have a big role to play, as we look to reach the quarter-final for the first time since 2010.
"It’s time for him to score again," the manager said. "Maybe he will find confidence back as well, because he misses chances. He is missing the chances that don’t look unfeasible for him."
"I felt he didn't feel confident against Hull. It’s always a problem because you think he can deliver something special, but it’s true that technically he missed things [against Hull] that he is not used to."
