'He is just a joy to be around'

Aaron Ramsey is delighted to be playing alongside Santi Cazorla again after the popular midfielder returned to action this summer.

The Welsh midfielder was full of praise for the Spanish maestro, and quick to point out that it’s not just 31-year-old's footballing ability that makes him so special.

“He’s a very bubbly character, he’s always happy,” Ramsey told Arsenal Player.

“He’s a joy to be around and on the pitch you know what he can do. He’s very technically gifted with both feet and he makes the game look easy.”

After starring at Euro 2016 with Wales, Ramsey said he had relished the opportunity to showcase his talents in France.

“I really wanted to show what I could do on the big stage in the Euros and I felt like I did that,” he said. “I was just enjoying my football and I think that was evident in the way I was playing. Hopefully I can continue that now into the season, I’m looking forward to it.”
