Flamini - European experience will help

Mathieu Flamini believes his European experience could prove vital in Arsenal’s Champions League decider at Olympiacos on Wednesday.

The Gunners must beat the Greek champions by two goals, or win by a one-goal margin and score at least three times, if they are to progress.

Flamini - who was part of the squad that reached the 2006 Champions League final - believes his know-how can help the team get through the group stage for the 16th successive season.

“Of course this is an important competition for me personally and for the club,” said Flamini.

“We have a good test to prove we have the quality to go through and continue our adventure. Everyone is focused and I will try to help my partners.

“We are experienced for the big games and I believe we can progress.”
