Supporters attending Saturday’s Barclays Premier League match against Sunderland are advised to arrive a minimum of an hour before kick-off, to allow for the additional safety measures now in place at Emirates Stadium. Turnstiles will be open from 1pm.
The Club has been working closely with the Metropolitan Police and the relevant authorities to enhance the existing comprehensive safety measures in place on matchdays.
As was the case for the Dinamo Zagreb match, there will be an increased security presence on the podium area around the stadium and the walkways leading up to the entrances of the stadium on Saturday. This will include additional searches of individuals outside and at the turnstiles. Supporters are asked not to bring bags to Emirates Stadium unless absolutely necessary.
These measures will be in place for the foreseeable future. We ask for your patience and understanding and thank you in advance for your co-operation.
