Arsenal will dedicate its Premier League fixture against Manchester City on Monday, December 21 to The Arsenal Foundation.
The annual fundraiser will once again see the Arsenal first-team squad donating a day’s wages to the cause and encouraging supporters to get involved and join in a range of fundraising activities on the matchday.
Since The Arsenal Foundation was launched in 2012, more than £2m has been committed to fund projects reaching over 200,000 young people in the United Kingdom and overseas. Save the Children is just one of the beneficiaries of the foundation and a recent donation of £118k has funded the construction of a pitch at a camp for displaced Iraqis.
All the work is designed to change people’s lives and supporters are also encouraged to get involved and learn more about the projects supported by the Arsenal Foundation.
You will be able to find out more via www.Arsenal.com, our Foundation Facebook and via @AFC_Foundation on Twitter, where we will highlight the great work of the projects and organisations with whom we work.
