Jordan Nobbs v Notts County (n), November 1

Jordan Nobbs claimed her second goal of the Continental Cup final in true style. The England international collected the ball outside the box and crashed a powerful drive past the outstretched hand of Carly Telford.

“I’m known for long-range shooting and as the commentator said, as soon as I touched it out of my feet, you can’t give me that type of space and if you do, the first thing on my mind is that I’m going to shoot,” she told Arsenal.com.

Natalia v Liverpool (h), July 12

Natalia’s strike in a disappointing defeat to Liverpool was one of the few highlights of the game. The striker latched on to Jemma Rose’s lofted pass before producing a first-time finish to loop the ball over Libby Stout.

“I think it was one of the best goals in my career," she told Arsenal.com. "I think it was a great ball from Jemma Rose and I touched the ball first time and I saw the keeper was off her line so I was very happy to have scored."

With the Continental Cup final deadlocked, Nobbs scored a fantastic solo effort that saw her dribble the ball from the halfway line before firing past Telford at her near post.

“We struggled to find our feet in the first ten minutes and settle down," she told Arsenal.com. "I think we panicked a little bit and as soon as we got that goal, it showed them what we could do. The goal itself leading up to that, I know the pattern of play was all one touch and it was a great team goal for us."

Marta Corredera v Birmingham (h), October 11

Marta Corredera scored the first goal of Arsenal’s 3-1 win against Birmingham in the Continental Cup semi-final. The winger cut in from the left flank before applying a drilled finish into the top corner from outside the box.

“For me it was amazing," she told Arsenal.com. "We were in an important game and had to be better in the Continental Cup to go to the final. For me, it is so important as I think it is best goal I have scored with Arsenal."

Alex Scott v Manchester City (h), August 9

Alex Scott produced a wonderful lob over Karen Bardsley in the 3-2 defeat to Manchester City in the Women’s Super League. The defender’s goal cancelled out Lucy Bronze’s opener after she raced down the right flank and chipped the ball into the back of the net.

“I just remembered at half-time Pedro had a few words with us and wanted to press higher up the field and wanted me to get forward a lot more,” she told Arsenal.com. “I remember the ball coming over the top and Jordan Nobbs chipping Bardsley last season so I literally just thought ‘Why not?’ And it went in!”
