Alexis played the full 90 minutes of Chile's 3-0 World Cup qualifier defeat against Uruguay in Montevideo. Diego Godin gave the home side the lead in the first half before Alvaro Pereira and Martin Caceres scored after the break. Alexis also played the entirety of La Roja's 1-1 draw with Colombia. Arturo Vidal put the hosts ahead, but James Rodriguez equalised in the 68th minute.

Petr Cech played the full 90 minutes and matched Karel Poborsky's Czech Republic all-time appearance record as Pavel Vrba's team were beaten by Poland in an international friendly in Wroclaw. Arek Milik and Tomasz Jodlowiec gave the hosts the lead and, though Ladislav Krejci pulled a goal back before half-time, Kamil Grosicki secured the win for Poland 20 minutes from full-time.  Cech was an unused substitute in Czech Republic’s 4-1 win against Serbia. Tomas Sivok opened the scoring in the first half before Tomas Necid dispatched a penalty. Peter Skuletic pulled one back for the visitors, but goals from Krejci and Ondrej Zahustel sealed the win.

Kieran Gibbs completed 90 minutes of action in England’s friendly victory at Wembley. Dele Alli gave Roy Hodgson’s side the lead with a fine 25-yard effort before Wayne Rooney completed the scoring just after half-time. Gibbs was an unused substitute in England's 2-0 friendly loss to Spain. Mario Gaspar opened the scoring before Santi Cazorla applied a cool finish to wrap up the win for the hosts.

David Ospina started but could not prevent Colombia from losing their World Cup qualifier at home to Argentina in Barranquilla. Lucas Biglia scored the game’s only goal after 20 minutes. Ospina also played the full 90 minutes as Colombia drew 1-1 with Chile. Arturo Vidal puts the hosts ahead in their World Cup qualifier, before James Rodriguez equalised in the 68th minute.

Laurent Koscielny started and Olivier Giroud was introduced as a 57th-minute substitute in France’s 2-0 friendly defeat against England. Dele Alli and Wayne Rooney scored the goals. Giroud scored in France’s 2-0 friendly win against Germany. The striker put the hosts in front before Andre-Pierre Gignac doubled their advantage. Koscielny played the full match, while Giroud lasted 68 minutes.

Gabriel was an unused substitute as Brazil continued their World Cup qualifying campaign with a comfortable win over Peru. Douglas Costa opened the scoring midway through the first half in Salvador, with Renato Augusto and Filipe Luis scoring in the second period. Gabriel also didn't feature in Brazil’s 1-1 draw with Argentina. Ezequiel Lavezzi gave the hosts the lead before Lucas Lima equalised in the second half.

Joel Campbell helped Costa Rica to beat Panama in this World Cup qualifier. Bryan Ruiz and Marcos Urena scored after half-time to give the visitors the advantage before Luis Tejada pulled one back. Campbell also played 73 minutes of Costa Rica’s 1-0 against Haiti. Cristian Gamboa scored the only goal of the game to seal the win.

Alex Iwobi was an unused substitute in Nigeria’s World Cup qualifier win over Swaziland. Moses Simon and Efe Ambrose scored after the break in Port Harcourt. Iwobi was also on the bench when the sides met four days before.

Serge Gnabry was an unused substitute in Germany’s Uefa Under-21 Championship qualifier win in Furth. Michael Gregoritsch gave Austria the lead from the penalty spot but Max Meyer and Leon Goretzka scored in quick succession to turn the match around just before half-time. Davie Selke made it 3-1 just after the restart and Leroy Sane added a fourth before Gregoritsch scored a late consolation. Gnabry played 46 minutes of Germany’s 3-1 Uefa Under-21 Championship qualifying victory against Azerbaijan. Maqsad Isayev gave the visitors the lead but Timo Werner soon equalised. Max Arnold was then on target to put the hosts in front before Werner scored his second goal of the night.

Chuba Akpom scored in England Under-21s’ 3-1 win against Switzerland in their Uefa Under-21 Championship qualifier. Shane Tarashaj gave the visitors the lead until James Ward-Prowse equalised with a penalty. Duncan Watmore then gave the hosts the lead before Chuba Akpom added a third to wrap up the win. Calum Chambers played the full 90 minutes while Akpom came on as a 58th minute substitute. The duo both featured in England's 0-0 draw againt Bosnia.

Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes of Poland’s 4-2 friendly win against Iceland. Gylfi Sigurdssen gave the visitors the lead but Kamil Grosicki equalised in the second half. Bartosz Kapustka put the hosts in front before Alfred Finnbogason levelled matters. Robert Lewandowski then claimed a brace to seal the win for Poland. Wojciech Szczesny was an unused substitute as Adam Nawalka's side continued their fine form with a 3-1 success over the Czech Republic.

Gedion Zelalem came on as a 73rd-minute substitute in USA Under-23s’ 5-1 friendly defeat to Brazil. The visitors took the lead when Santos Barbosa put the ball past his own keeper. Gabriel Barbosa equalised before Felipe Anderson scored twice to give the hosts a comfortable lead. Gabriel Barbosa then got his second of the night before Luan wrapped up the win late on.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Dan Crowley both featured for England in their 2-2 draw with the Netherlands.
Dan Crowley scored in England Under-19s' 5-1 friendly win against Japan. Josh Onomah and Patrick Roberts put the hosts in front before Kazune Kubota pulled one back for the visitors. Tammy Abraham scored twice to give England a three goal advantage until substitute Crowley scored in added time to seal with the win. Ainsley Maitland-Niles played 62 minutes while Crowley came on in the 70th minute.
