Arsene Wenger says he can trust Mathieu Debuchy to impress against Bayern Munich.
The defender is in line to replace the injured Hector Bellerin in Arsenal’s starting XI against the Bavarians in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Wenger believes that Debuchy will be in a good physical condition for the fixture despite not playing regularly this season.
“Debuchy will play and I’m confident,” he said. “I trust Debuchy, he is a 100 per cent educated player in the box and in training.
"Fortunately he played a full game against Sheffield Wednesday and physically he should be well."
