Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes of Roma’s 1-1 draw at Hellas Verona. Bosko Jankovic gave the hosts the lead but Alessandro Florenzi scored in the 68th minute to salvage a point for Roma.

Carl Jenkinson was sent off in West Ham’s 4-3 defeat against Bournemouth. Callum Wilson scored twice to give the visitors a two-goal lead but Mark Noble and Cheikhou Kouyate struck to level matters. Marc Pugh then restored Bournemouth’s lead before Jenkinson’s red card allowed Wilson to complete his hat-trick from the penalty spot. Modibo Maiga scored a late consolation for West Ham.

The West Brom midfielder scored either side of half-time but Cesar Azpilicueta’s strike secured three points for the visitors, who had been reduced to 10 men after John Terry was sent off.
