Ramsey on Arsenal finding their rhythm

Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey spoke to the media following Arsenal's 1-1 draw against Manchester United. This is what he had to say:

on whether the draw was a fair result…
Yes, I think so - its always a difficult place to come and in the first half we found it quite difficult but we improved in the second half. We kept the ball a bit better and created a few chances and maybe could have won it at the end.

on it being tough at Old Trafford…
I am not sure [why]. We have found it difficult in the past but I think we have overcome that now. We found it difficult in the first half and grew as the game went on.

on the first-half display…
The fact that we lost against Swansea, maybe that was in the back of our minds. It took us some time to get going but when we did find our rhythm we felt quite comfortable out there. We were a bit nervy and rushed our game a bit. It was important to come out in the second half and put our stamp on the game and I feel like we did that in the end.

on finishing in third place…
It is another important game [against Sunderland on Wednesday]. They will be fighting for their lives and we have two home games and we want to finish strong before the FA Cup final. I think we feel quite confident about [finishing in third]. It was important to get a result today and hopefully we can go into the remaining games and win them both before the big one.
