Five Gunners named in World Cup squad

Five Arsenal players have been named in the England squad for this summer's Women’s World Cup.

Siobhan Chamberlain, Alex Scott, Casey Stoney, Jordan Nobbs and Lianne Sanderson have all been included in Mark Sampson’s 23-player squad for the tournament in Canada.

England’s first Group F game is against France on Tuesday, June 9 in Moncton. They then take on Mexico on Saturday, June 13 before playing Colombia in Montreal on Wednesday, June 17.

Vicky Losada and Natalia Pablos Sanchon have also received call-ups to the Spain squad.
