Pedro Martinez Losa is pleased with the way his side responded to a “difficult mental situation” against Bristol Academy.
The Gunners suffered a frustrating afternoon on Sunday when their FA Cup defence was ended by Chelsea, but Losa’s side bounced back immediately with a 2-0 win over Bristol in the Women’s Super League.
The manager was delighted with how his side overcame their disappointment. “We needed a reaction from the team and we got one in the first team with good energy, high pressing and good football,” he said.

“The other day we only had one point in the league and it looked like a drama but one win here and we are second in the table. Last year we were not in this position and this will help the team move forward with more energy, motivation and confidence for Manchester City.”
