Alexis Sanchez says he will never forget the way Chile lost against Brazil at the 2014 World Cup.

David Luiz gave Brazil an early lead before Alexis equalised, but the tournament hosts secured a spot in the quarter-finals after winning 3-2 on penalties.

Emirates Stadium will host the first meeting between the two sides since then, on March 29, and Alexis is looking forward to a rematch ahead of this summer’s Copa America in Chile.

"I remember well that game and I still don't forget that we hit the post in the last minute of the game"

“Playing against Brazil at the Emirates Stadium makes me really happy,” the Chile forward said. “I will be playing at home with the support of my home crowd. There's nothing like playing at your own home.

“London is a really nice city and I have many friends living here as well. I am really looking forward to playing against Brazil in London.

“I will always feel gutted about that loss against Brazil. I remember well that game and I still don't forget that we hit the post in the last minute of the game.

“But that's part of football. We could have made it through the next round and that feeling will remain in me forever.”
