Sunday's match against Aston Villa marks our Arsenal for Everyone initiative, which celebrates the diversity and equality of the club and its fan base.
We welcome a cross section of the Arsenal family pitchside to welcome players on to the pitch.
Arsenal Ladies players, alongside participants from our Arsenal in the Community programmes, and Arsenal’s LGBT supporters group, GayGooners, will display our iconic Arsenal for Everyone flags as the teams enter the pitch for kick-off.
They will be joined by special guest Darek Fidyka - the first ever paralysed patient to undergo a new pioneering surgery technique to regain the ability to walk thanks to funding from nsif.
We also welcome equality and inclusion organisation, Kick It Out and Football v Homophobia as guests of the club at this special match as February marks the start of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) history month.
Representatives of the GayGooners, who are a social group of LGBT fans and play a vital role in kicking homophobia out of football are displaying their new banner with Arsenal legend, Pat Rice, before kick-off to mark this special month.
